Looking forward to watching the Island Stages Rally this weekend? It’s a great opportunity to watch many of the rally cars that have featured in the Island Car Centre Sandown Sprint, tested on a full rally stage. The Island rally is held on Sunday, 3rd November.
Look out for previous fastest driver Will Nicholls with local favourites Wayne Hole, Kevin Richardson and John Peck. There’s also plenty of talent coming over to the Island to try the new three-mile stage, with 50 cars entered in total. Congratulations to the Isle of Wight Car Club for organising the event and to the title sponsor Weaver Brothers.
A dedicated spectator viewing area will be set up at The Cow Shed, Havenstreet, with a shuttle bus running to spectator parking at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway at the other end of the village, stopping at the White Hart pub on the way. There will be excellent viewing of an exciting junction as well as panoramic views along Firestone Copse Road and Rowlands Lane from the steep hill opposite. There will be catering and toilets available at The Cow Shed.
