Volunteer event stewards and marshals are the backbone of UK motorsport. The Island Car Centre Sandown Sprint is unusual because it will not only be bringing motorsport to closed public roads, but also providing an opportunity for spectators to enjoy the event. Allowing the general public to safely enjoy the ICC Sandown Sprint will require a number of enthusiastic volunteers. Our stewards will help welcome visitors to the site and assist them to proceed efficiently and safely to the designated spectator enclosures.
Volunteering as a spectator marshal provides a rewarding and unique way of getting involved in this special event. You’ll be part of the community of motorsport which is essential to running a successful weekend.
You need to be available for a minimum of half a day on Saturday and Sunday and be prepared to attend a briefing session before the event. The organisers will provide refreshments and encourage you to also enjoy the event yourself when not on duty.
If you’re interested in joining the event team, please contact us and let us know your availability. We will then be back in touch with you.
If you have already been confirmed as a ‘Track Marshall’ you can download a registration form here. PLEASE NOTE: Track marshall spots are now full, we only have spaces for spectator marshalls!
