Spectator tickets are now on sale for the Sandown Sprint, part of the Isle of Wight Speed Trials to held over 28th & 29th March 2020. Take advantage of a special ticket launch package, a perfect last-minute Christmas gift for the petrol head in your life (even if this is you!).
Book your tickets in advance now to take advantage of special online prices. Make it a day out for the whole family, and bring up to two children (up to 15 years) with every adult ticket. Promoter Tim Addison said, “The event will be a fantastic day out for all the family, but capacity for this first event is extremely limited. To avoid disappointment we’re looking to encourage everyone who is interested in spectating to book online.”
Spectators will be able to enjoy almost unbroken views of the track which is located on Culver Parade, Sandown. The racing cars will navigate chicanes, tight turns and a hairpin bend along the 750m track which starts at The Bandstand and ends at The Grand. The entry of 100 cars is already almost oversubscribed, just one week after opening so a high quality of competitive cars is assured.
The Sandown Sprint will be one of the first closed-road race events in the country and the only one currently planned for the South Coast, so a unique opportunity. It track is set against the spectacular backdrop of Bembridge Down and Sandown Bay.
The Sandown Sprint is also proud to be a qualifying round of the ACSMC Speed Championship. “It’s unprecedented for a new motorsport event to be adopted by an established championship, which is a real boost for the event and the Isle of Wight” continued Tim.
Weekend Ticket Packages, which include two Weekend Adult Tickets, two Souvenir Programmes, plus a special IW Speed Trials Beanie Hat – costs just £25 for a limited time only (saving approximately 50% on day ticket prices).
